Exports give you portable snapshots of lists, transactions, or summaries for modelling in spreadsheets, archiving, or sharing evidence with banks and auditors—without handing edit access inside Tafsee Books to everyone who only needs a file.
Supported formats typically include Excel, PDF, and CSV depending on the screen: pick the format your recipient can ingest (analysis, formal printout, or downstream import).
Exporting from each area of the product
Across modules and list screens—items, customers, invoices, expenses, and similar—look for an export action tailored to that view. Where the product supports it, you can download Excel, PDF, or CSV so the file matches your workflow.
Filter by date range or status first to keep files focused. Very large extracts may run in the background; check downloads or notifications when the bundle is ready.

Reports: export all or one report
Under Reports you can usually either export everything in one go (a bundled set or bulk download where available) or open a single report and export just that view. Formats again follow what each report supports—typically Excel, PDF, or CSV.
Set the reporting period and any filters before downloading, and choose the format that fits the audience (PDF for readable packs, CSV for data pipelines, Excel for analysis).

When export all is available, it saves you from opening each report separately—handy for month-end packs or audit bundles. Single-report exports stay lighter and faster when you only need one dataset (for example AR ageing or a single item movement view).
Rename downloads with the report date and organisation name to avoid clashes, and archive copies if policy requires. Make sure whoever exports has access to view that report’s data so sensitive numbers are not shared by mistake.
Quick tips
- Filter the list or report by date and status before exporting to keep file size manageable.
- Use CSV for imports elsewhere, PDF for printouts, and Excel for analysis.
- Confirm user permissions before sharing files with sensitive financial data.
